The weather outside was frightful. It was cold and pouring rain. Naturally, we walked the two miles to Fisherman's Wharf. Somehow we always do that - walk in the worst conditions. We saw the Christmas tree at Pier 39.
We both reflected a little on our favorite and least favorite things about the last six months. Marc and I both said we'd enjoyed seeing not just San Francisco, but the surrounding areas on our weekend day trips. Marc's least favorite thing about adjusting to living in the city is just getting around - which includes public transit, driving places in the city, and of course, finding parking! My least favorite thing I've had to adjust to is how expensive everything is. It's gotten a little easier, but paying three times more for everyday things was really difficult to get used to. But we both love it here. The process of adjusting has been fun and has made us better as a couple. We've met some amazing people and feel like we're finally "settled" here.
