I'm not going to go into all the ooey-gooey mushiness that you certainly don't want to hear about us. Here's the facts:
I love Marc.
He loves me.
We owe every second of our marriage past and marriage future to God's sustaining, long-suffering, gracious goodness.
We've had a big year. Last year at this time we were on top of a glacier in Alaska.
This year we've grown to love each other in a new way. We've had to learn how to depend on just one another. We arrived in a city that held not a friend in the world to us and all we had was each other.
But we found our way: a wonderful church and great friends and community within, as well as areas we can serve and bless others; two great jobs that have provided and grown us in different ways, a city we love and a region of the country that we enjoy more each minute we live in it. Most importantly, we've found that we can depend on one another as we receive grace from God.
To end the ode to our marriage, I'll share some pictures from our wedding day.
