Recently, on her blog, Kathy encouraged some of her blogging friends to make 10 summer goals - using five from her list and making five of their own, and then giving blog updates throughout the summer on how those goals were going. I took her up on her challenge and hopefully this will motivate me to blog more.
My schedule doesn't change like most teachers' schedules do during the summer. My school operates all year because of the demographic we serve - so I don't get a break or even a change in schedule. This will make the challenge from Kathy even more motivating because I will have to really try to make these goals happen!
Ok, so here are my goals for this summer:
(From Kathy's list):
1. Learn to do something new
2. Host a summer dinner party
3. Perfect a salsa recipe
4. Take a picture every hour for one whole day
5. Take a road trip
(From my brain):
6. Take and edit 10 great photos (frameworthy)
7. Finally go to Bikram (hot) yoga
8. Try two new recipes a month
9. Call my grandmothers more
10. Read 10 books
So there they are, out there for all my readers (all four of you) to see. My summer goals. Hold me to it, please. I'll try to give you updates along the way. I'm already working on a couple of them, like organizing my recipes so I can actually find two per months to try, and I took a road trip this past weekend that I'll blog about soon.
Meanwhile...I'm still thinking about this:
